Since we kicked off the Holding Our Breath campaign, we're giving you a daily dose of good health by providing a reason a day for the State Legislature to pass a comprehensive smoke free law. Check back each day for the latest of the 100 reasons in 100 days for Wisconsin to go smoke free.

100 Reasons, 100 Days

Reason 30: Cindy’s Dad

Reason 29: Occupational Hazard

Lion Tamer. WWE Wrestler. Waitress.

What do all three occupations have in common? Two words: occupational hazards.

Reason 28: Folk not Smoke

Carmen Lee Orlowski from Stevens Point checks in with today’s edition of the 100 Reasons in 100 Days. Carmen makes her living as a musician, which includes lots of gigs at bars – and lots of exposure to secondhand smoke.

We think Carmen’s music always sounds good – but is best heard wafting through smoke-free air.

Reason 27: Community Events

There is certainly a lot to love about Wisconsin. And, one of the things that makes our state such a great place to live is all the family-friendly activities that take place year round. Community events are part of our culture, and, as Jennifer Stangl from DeForest tells us, one of the reasons for Wisconsin to go smoke free is to make sure all those events can be held in the safety of smoke-free air.
